I am going to be super drained both physically and financially...
paid for awhole lot of things recently, team fund, jersey, teeshirt, member card... plans for chalet and new phone too... money money money, where are you? haha! and of course, upcoming ubin camp + regatta race. i want to study... =( feel like as though i am lagging behind already... I HAVE BEEN FALLING ASLEEP IN CLASSES!!! like so randomly sleeping lar... there is a term for it known as, "Narcolepsy". in layman's term, it will be sleeping randomly.. =s "Narcolepsy is a neurological sleep disorder that is commonly associated with falling asleep at random times. Narcoleptics tend to fall directly into REM sleep, when most dreaming occurs, and less commonly enter deeper and more restful stages of non-REM sleep. As a result, they are unable to stay awake for extended periods of time, and upon falling back asleep, they still are unable experience sleep’s more restorative stages – - causing a vicious cycle of extreme sleepiness and inability to stay awake after having slept. Another symptom can include cataplexy, the sudden collapse of an individual into REM sleep upon experiencing strong emotions. Sleep paralysis and hypnogogic hallucinations (hallucinations which accompany sleep paralysis) are also known to be symptoms. The cause of narcolepsy has not been determined. It is widely believed to be an autoimmune disorder, but it may also be genetic. Treatments include stimulants, anti-depressants, or hypnotic medications such as Xyrem." -http://listverse.com/2008/07/19/top-10-bizarre-sleep-disorders/ and also, i've found out 4 great ways to sleep!!! dont know whether it's true or not. but i think it's worthed to give it a shot! - complete darkness - no caffeine/sugar/energy booster and etc. - sleep with fan(4 feet away), and no electrical devices near u due to radiation(fone, alarm clock etc) - sunlight exposure + exercise! -http://www.pickthebrain.com/blog/great-sleep/ i guess that will sum it all! ciaos! ![]() ![]() |
